Shelley Christian - Second Grade Teacher

Mrs. Shelley Christian grew up in Marshfield, Wisconsin. She graduated from UW-Eau Claire in 1990 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. In 1997, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from UW-Oshkosh. In 2017, Mrs. Christian earned her WELS Synod Certification from MLC. Mrs. Christian taught special ed. grades 1-3 at Baldy Mesa Elementary, Phelan, California from 1993-96. Upon returning to Wisconsin she took a break from teaching to stay at home with her growing family. In 2010 Mrs. Christian returned to work, first as an aide and then as a called worker.

Mrs. Christian and her husband, Ben, have 3 children (Elizabeth, Noah and Isaac). She enjoys reading, family time (especially family game night), and scrap-booking.

One of her favorite Bible passages is Ephesians 4:32, “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
