Our Mission

Neenah Lutheran School exists to develop and strengthen discipleship in children and their families by establishing a safe, loving, Christian learning environment.

Our Focus

Our early childhood program is based on the philosophy that children excel when they are actively involved in the learning process and given the means to practice independence, cooperation, and problem solving. Our caring and knowledgeable teachers plan hands-on learning experiences that lay the foundation for future school success. During the school day, we strive to help children grow in all areas of development - emotional, social, cognitive, physical, and spiritual.

Let the little children come to me…

These words of Jesus found in Matthew 19 are applied every day at Neenah Lutheran. No matter what classroom you visit, each one starts each morning and afternoon with God’s Word. Every Wednesday morning, our campuses gather for worship in song and study of Scripture.

As our young ones study God’s word, they are daily reminded of the simple, yet profound truth that Jesus died for their sins, and that he is preparing a place in heaven for those who believe in him.

Engaging curious minds through STEM

At Neenah Lutheran School, every student is a scientist and engineer, whether they know it or not!

Our school uses the FOSS Next Generation Program to teach our students the concepts and practices necessary to go into the STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). Students are immersed in a hands-on, inquiry based approach that fosters a love of learning and strong critical thinking skills. We utilize the Next Generation Science Standards to help coordinate our approach to scientific learning.

Our young scientists and engineers develop strong skills in critical thinking, problem solving, observation, and discovery as they study God’s creation. In K-2nd grade, here are just a few of the topics your student will engage in:

  • Propagating plants and analyzing their growth

  • Design terrariums and provide for the needs of both plants and animals living together in the classroom

  • Investigate properties of materials in order to design and build structures

  • Apply newly learned tools and methods to describe properties of air and weather
