Kaitlin Gilbert - First Grade Teacher
Ms. Kaitlin Gilbert grew up in Pardeeville, WI with her parents and younger sister. She graduated from Pardeeville High School in 2017.
After highschool, Ms. Gilbert attended UW-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County for 2 years. During her time in Baraboo, she worked at Our Savior’s Kids Day Care, was an Assistant Sunday School teacher at her home church, and coached 8th grade club volleyball. She graduated in 2019 with an Associates Degree. In the fall she transferred to UW-Stevens Point for 3.5 years. Throughout her time at Stevens Point, Ms. Gilbert was a part of the UWSP WELS Collegiate Campus Ministry organization. She has worked at the Stevens Point YMCA Child Care Center, taught VBS, and student taught in Kindergarten/1st grade. Ms. Gilbert also did substitute teaching in 2021 for a few months until she started her pre-student teaching. In the fall of 2022 she left her summer job working on/off at Indian Trails Campground from the past 8 years. In December of 2022, Ms. Gilbert graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Early Childhood Special Education.
In her free time she enjoy hiking, spending time with family and friends, and playing volleyball.
Ms. Gilbert’s favorite bible verse is Psalm 119:105 - Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
