Aaron Hartwig - Sixth Grade Teacher
Mr. Aaron Hartwig was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin and grew up nearby in the small town of Maribel, where he began his journey through our Lutheran school system. Eight years at St. John’s Luthern in Maribel were followed by four years at Manitowoc Lutheran High School and five years at Martin Luther College, where he earned his bachelor’s degree with credentials to teach at both the grade school and high school levels. He later continued his education through Martin Luther College, as he earned his master’s degree in educational leadership.
The Lord has blessed him with opportunities to serve two previous schools, St. John in Hemlock, Michigan, and St. Paul’s in North Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
He is married to his best friend, Tonia, and has the privilege of being a step dad to three amazing boys (Maxwell, Benson, and Lincoln) and one lab (Hurley).
In his free time, he loves spending time with his family, being outdoors and kayaking with his wife, and reading about American political history.
His favorite bible passage is Proverbs 3:3 because it reminds him of God’s unsurpassable love for us; a love we get to emulate: Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.
